 This is from the book of Ibn Kaseer, Al-Bidaayah wan Nihaayah's English translatio a great work of him. This is second part of book that consist stories of  the  Prophets:Moosa (A.S) , Samuel(A.S) , Zakariyyah(A.S) , Yahya (John)(A.S) , Eesa (Jesus)(A.S) , Zul Qarnayn, Luqman and more.
 It also covers the children of Israaeel (Banni Israaeel), books of God and past nations. The Prophets and Messengers sent by Allah's exact numberis not known, but the Quran makes clear that all of the Prophets were sent to various nations to preach Islam. Muslims believe that all the Allah's Messengers including those in common with Judaism and Christainity conveyed the same message of true monotheism and submission to the one Allah. Belief on these Prophets & Messengers is an essential part of the Islamic faith & Muslims do not differentiate between them, according Muslim all the same respect and reverence.
